Currently lives and works in Brooklyn, New York
In Kottie Paloma’s paintings, drawings, books and sculptures, he explores the darker sides of society such as guns, drugs, poverty and relationships gone badly in a comic yet poignant and gritty manner. Much of the text in his work comes from real life. Walking down a city street and overhearing the sometimes-public conversations of passerby's gives fodder to his art. Kottie’s art is routinely exhibited Internationally in Galleries such as Bongout in Berlin , JAS Gallery in Paris, France, as well as art Fairs and and group shows From Frankfurt to Seoul, South Korea, New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco. His art is in over 50 Pri5vate collections and 11 public Collections with bulk of his work in the public collection of MOMA NYC.
This is Kottie Paloma’s second show at MOHS Exhibit.
